On the runway at Cape Canaveral, Florida, Kate dons a golden bodysuit and 5" heels as she poses near the nose of the Zero-G Boeing 707 just before flight. The 12 photographers who joined her on the flight were real pros, but none had prepared for the experience of weightlessness. Most got really sick, or very nauseous. Kate was as sturdy as a trained astronaut. If they ever revive our space program, they should ask Kate to come on board at NASA!
